Michael Assad - Co-founder, CEO
Michael Assad holds a Computer Engineering degree from the University of Toronto. Starting out as a freelance Web developer in 1995, he worked on projects with Research in Motion and Nortel Networks during the dot com boom. Despite the economic downturn that followed, he was able to drive growth of Edentity to become the fastest growing web development company in Canada, earning the Profit Hot 50 Award in 2006 and 2007. His deep knowledge of web technologies, combined with an understanding of the ever changing digital marketing landscape makes him a trusted partner for delivering the code and tools that power cutting edge sites for brands like Shoppers Drug Mart, Uncle Ben's, Campbell's, Cineplex, W Network and Dr. Pepper.
Jonathan Voigt - Co-founder, CTO
Jonathan Voigt graduated with a degree in Systems and Computing Engineering from the University of Guelph. Jon started his career at United Systems Solutions, an innovative technology consultancy based in Toronto. In his time there, Jon took a lead role on the architecture of a unique document and image management system called WebArchive. In 2001, United was acquired by Cognicase/CGI and Jon saw an opportunity to move on. He settled into a select team of developers and business consultants to bring the award-winning Maximiser Enterprise for Notes CRM to market. Having completed another challenge, Jon decided his fate lie on his entrepreneurial side. In 2002, Jon ventured off with Michael to start Edentity, bringing valuable software architecture and management experience to the table.
Joel Varty - Director of Research & Development
Joel Varty has extensive experience with Web application technologies and architectures, both from a product and a consulting perspective. Previous to joining Edentity, Joel worked for Point Alliance, a consulting services company specializing in custom Web development and enterprise integration projects at companies such as Cadillac Fairview and the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association. He specialized at incorporating disparate technologies to solve complex business problems, bringing enterprise and legacy data together in custom Web interfaces. Before that, he spent 4 years as a lead architect and senior developer on the Web client of a leading CRM product, Maximizer Enterprise for Notes, with United System Solutions (now Interchange Solutions). Joel Varty graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in English and Computer Engineering; he is also a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer for the .Net Platform.

Andre Gaulin- Director of Agility Solutions
Andre Gaulin is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a specialist degree in Geography and Geographic Information Systems. Early in his career, Andre transitioned into the world of web development and has never looked back. He has had the pleasure of delivering solutions for some of Canada's biggest brands including MuchMusic, CTV, Softchoice, and Cineplex Entertainment and many more big brands. Andre's focus on usability, information architecture, the mobile web, and rich broadband media have allowed him to transform high level concepts into successful and engaging online properties. Having had the opportunity to work with Edentity for a number of years on the client side, Andre jumped at the opportunity to join the team and help shape the future of Agility.

Michael Iskiw - Solutions Architect
Michael Iskiw graduated with a degree in Computer Science with a Software Engineering Specialization from the University of Western Ontario. After graduating he completed his Microsoft Certified Solution Developer for .NET certification showing his competence with the .NET Framework and software problem solving. After University he worked as a contractor for small start-up projects before joining the Edentity team in the summer of 2005. Michael worked with Web based applications for over 6 years prior to joining Edentity and now applies this experience on a daily basis on challenging Edentity client projects.
